Henna from as low as £8!
About Henna:
Henna has been used for centuries in many countries for blessing, to ward off evil and as an expression of happiness.
Henna paste is made from dried and powdered leaves of a plant called "Lawsonia Inermis". The leaves contain a natural dye that has the tendency to stain skin, nails and hair - basically any keratinized area of the body. The paste is prepared by powdering the leaves, and sifting them to get a very fine powder, then mixing various natural ingredients in the powder (like essential oils, sucrose, maltose, tea, black cardamom and cinnamon). The paste is then let to sit for a few hours depending on the temperature of the surroundings, till it releases its natural dye. After the dye is released, the paste is then ready to be used. It is put into hand-rolled cones and applied to skin where it is then left to dry, after which it is scraped off. The initial stain is orange in colour. It then oxidizes and darkens over the next few days obtaining a beautiful cherry red, brown, chestnut brown or mahogany shade depending on where the powder came from (where the plant was grown) and the client's skin texture and complexion.

About Me:
I have been doing henna for more than 11 years now and I have loved it ever since I started!
I mix my own henna paste so I am very confident about the quality of my henna, the stain that it will leave and can guarantee that there will be no complaints about any allergic reactions. I never use black henna and would advise everyone to stay away from it! It can cause reactions that can seriously hurt you and scar your skin for life!
Every single one of my clients is very special to me, and I know henna is mostly applied for special occassions, or out of love for henna so I try to make the experience as worthwhile as possible for all of you!
